Iplocation.net works with the above IP-to-location data providers and displays their geolocation results through their APIs. Because the underlying location records are maintained by those providers, we do not directly edit or correct IP geolocation data ourselves.

Country-level IP location is usually the most stable result. Region and city-level IP geolocation can shift when an ISP routes traffic through another metro area, a mobile carrier uses a regional gateway, or a VPN, proxy, or hosting provider terminates traffic far from the user.
