Around 10 years, PageRank was the SEO measure that everyone was talking about. If you’ve been in the business for more than a few years, you probably remember how excited you were to learn that the PageRank toolbar had undergone an upgrade. Ideally, your recent efforts would have resulted in an improvement in your PageRank score, which would have indicated to you that Google now regarded your site as being more authoritative than it had been. An improvement in your PageRank ranking was a strong indicator that your SEO plan was effective. By the year 2023, hardly anybody is talking about PageRank. It’s simply that it’s no longer a measure that the general public sees, not that it’s any less significant. And SEOs finally cease talking about something when they can no longer quantify it.
