Falling Blocks
Tetris
Play a polished browser version of Tetris with score, line clearing, levels, next-piece preview, and keyboard or button controls.
Tetris is one of the most iconic video games, created by Russian software engineer Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. The objective is to rotate and place falling blocks called tetrominoes so they form complete horizontal lines. Completed lines disappear, the board opens up, and the game speeds up as your score grows.

How to Play Tetris
- Move pieces left or right while they fall.
- Rotate each piece to fit gaps in the stack.
- Clear full rows to score points and advance levels.
- The game ends when new pieces cannot enter the board.
Keyboard controls are supported: arrow keys move and rotate pieces, the down arrow soft-drops, and the space bar drops the piece quickly.
Good Tetris play is about staying flat, leaving room for long pieces, and avoiding tall uneven stacks that limit your next move.
